Ryo Haruyama drove in four runs, sparking the Salina Stockade (24-27) to an 11-7 victory over the Great Bend Boom (17-30) on Wednesday at Al Burns Field. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Skyler Janisse struck out six, paving the way for a the Salina Stockade win. Janisse allowed one earned run on three hits and seven walks over seven innings.
Jonathan Tasis did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Great Bend Boom, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the eighth and ninth innings.
Ryan Santhon pitched lights out for the Great Bend Boom. Santhon held the Salina Stockade hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Matt Marino was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
