June 1 2017 The Wichita Wingnuts defeated the Salina Stockade 13-0, scoring 12 hits while limiting Salina to six. Wichita broke through with six runs in the third inning, added three in the fifth, one in the sixth, two in the seventh and one in the eighth. Salina was held scoreless throughout the game.
Wichita received home runs from B. Clevlen and B. Salgado. Clevlen went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs, while Salgado finished 2-for-5 with two runs and three RBIs. R. Prigatano went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and one RBI, and T. Mittelstaedt was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. M. Medina scored three runs and drew three walks.
Jordan Cooper earned the win with seven scoreless innings, allowing six hits and striking out five without issuing a walk. J. Wilson worked the final two innings and allowed no hits while recording one strikeout. Salina starter
