11/7/2017-Donnie Speranza pitched 6 innings allowing 3 hits and 4 runs. Relly Mercurio was called on in the 7th inning when Donnie got in to trouble, and he got three outs without allowing a run. Derek Reddy went 3-4 for the Stockade with 3 runs scored. Daniel Barrett hit a key two run homer that proved to be the difference for the Stockade. Wilson Ophrey ran through the outfield fence in a failed attempt to rob the home run. JW Moore had a key 2 RBI Double to help pad the lead. For the Kingfish TJ Zarewitz pitched 6 iinnings allowing 5 runs with 9 strikeouts. He also had a key 2 rbi single in the 7th. Both teams lost a player for the rest of the series due to injury. For the Kingfish Matt Bergandi started and lasted only one inning. He left the game with an arm injury. Ian Horne was signed and will be flying in from Canada to replace him on the roster on Thursday. Christian Carmouche hit what appeared to be a double off the left field wall.
