The Santa Fe Fuego (19-47) jumped on the Salina Stockade (29-36) early on their way to a 9-6 win on Thursday at Fort Marcy Park, scoring three runs in the first inning.

The Santa Fe Fuego scored in the first on a two-run home run by Joey Lacugna and a solo home run by Daniel Aldrich.

Michael Schofield rocked the Salina Stockade with two home runs. Schofield went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Schofield homered in the fourth and sixth innings.

Zack Carter got his third win for the Santa Fe Fuego despite allowing six runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered 12 hits.

Troy Mannebach ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

Wednesday was a great day for Ray Hernandez, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Salina Stockade (29-35) to an 18-6 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego (18-47) at Fort Marcy Park.

Hernandez racked up nine RBIs on four hits for the Salina Stockade. He doubled in the third inning, homered in the second and sixth innings, and singled in the seventh inning.

Six runs in the opening three innings allowed the Salina Stockade to easily put away the Santa Fe Fuego. A three-run home run by Hernandez in the second inning fueled the Salina Stockades offense early.

The Salina Stockade got the win thanks in large part to Dalton Bernardis dominant, 13-strikeout performance. Bernardi allowed four earned runs, seven hits and three walks over 7 2/3 innings.

Jimmy Daley couldnt get it done on the hill for the Santa Fe Fuego, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out five.

An awesome effort by Daniel Aldrich carried the Santa Fe Fuego (18-46) to a 29-8 win over the Salina Stockade (28-35) on Tuesday at Fort Marcy Park.

Aldrich blasted two home runs for the Santa Fe Fuego. Aldrich went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Aldrich homered in the fourth and seventh innings.

CJ Epperson rocked the Santa Fe Fuego with two home runs. Epperson went 4-5 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Epperson homered in the fourth and ninth innings.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 37 total runs and 36 hits during the game. There were six pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

The Santa Fe Fuego continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Santa Fe Fuego scored 14 runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Santa Fe Fuego scored 10 runs in the seventh on the Santa Fe Fuego scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Chris Tavares, a sacrifice fly by Joey Lacugna, a three-run home run by Anthony Ruggiero, a two-run triple by Omar Artsen, an error, and a two-run home run by Aldrich.

The Tucson Saguaros (49-13) and the Salina Stockade (28-34) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Tucson Saguaros that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 10-7 win at Warren.

Ryan Retz had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Taylor Zuetenbarst racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Salina Stockade. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Wesley Parrish recorded his second win of the year for the Tucson Saguaros. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Kevin Delzell couldnt get it done on the rubber for the Salina Stockade, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Tucson Saguaros were sparked by Michael Morris and Retz, who teamed up for three hits and five RBIs.

Jesse Baker was cold coming off the bench, but Baker warmed up quickly as Baker stroked a key pinch-hit double in the eight to lead the Tucson Saguaros (48-13) to a 5-3 win over the Salina Stockade (28-33) on Saturday at Kino Veterans.

With the Tucson Saguaros trailing by one, Baker came to the plate and doubled.

The Salina Stockade jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Salina Stockade led until the eighth inning, but the Tucson Saguaros took the lead back on an RBI single by Cameron Cox.

The Tucson Saguaros were led by a flawless day at the dish by Ryan Retz, who went 4-4 against the Salina Stockades pitching. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Aaron Smith got the win, running his season record to 3-3. Smith struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Skyler Fuss (3-5) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Tucson Saguaros (47-13) and the Salina Stockade (28-32) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Tucson Saguaros that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-4 win at Kino Veterans.

Jimmy Heck racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Tucson Saguaros. He tripled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Cameron Cox baffled the Salina Stockade, striking out six batters. Cox allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Morgan Blatnik got on base two times in the game for the Salina Stockade. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Tyler Herr recorded his third win of the year for the Tucson Saguaros. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Gilbert Barrera (1-6) took the loss for the Salina Stockade. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.

Taylor Zuetenbarst went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Salina Stockade. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

The Pecos League of Professional Baseball clubs will return to Salina for the 2017 season. The Stockade have enjoyed a successful inaugural season playing limited home games in Dean Evans Stadium. In 2017 the Stockade will increase the number of home games to a balanced schedule.

"Salina has been great to our players and the league. The Surface at Dean Evans Field is as good as it gets." says Salina Manager Justin Thompson.

The Stockade have their 2017 Spring Training in Tucson, Arizona and will open the 2017 Season in Tucson on May 18, 2017.

Taylor Zuetenbarst knocked in three runs as the Salina Stockade (28-30) took home a 9-6 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (27-30) at Kokernot Field on Wednesday. He singled in the first and fifth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Nate Ferrell racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Even though Dalton Bernardi allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. He struck out five, walked six and surrendered seven hits.

Jake Heissler was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

The Alpine Cowboys (26-29) had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Salina Stockade (27-29) dominated in a 10-4 win in seven innings at Kokernot Field.

The Salina Stockade scored four runs in the fifth on the Salina Stockade scored in the fifth on a two-run single by Ray Hernandez, a two-run single by Hernandez, and a two-run single by Morgan Blatnik.

Hernandez racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Salina Stockade.

The Alpine Cowboys scored in the first on an RBI single by Eric Ferguson, an RBI single by Matt Henriksen, an RBI single by Nate Ferrell, a two-run single by Crisford Adames, and an RBI single by Reagan Rutledge.

Adames racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys.

Ely Gallego picked up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. Gallego allowed one earned run, nine hits and no walks while striking out five over nine innings of work.

Larry Rodriguez threw a shutout to lift the Topeka Train Robbers (21-29) to a 10-0 win over the Salina Stockade (25-28) at Dean Evans Stadium in seven innings.

Rodriguez struck out 10, paving the way for a the Topeka Train Robbers win. The Topeka Train Robbers pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Eight runs in the opening three innings allowed the Topeka Train Robbers to easily put away the Salina Stockade. An RBI single by Tyler Shannon, an RBI single by Steven Taft, a sacrifice fly by Gabriel Acevedo, an RBI single by Johnathon Valenzuela-Reece, a two-run single by Valenzuela-Reece, an RBI single by Chris Scura, and a two-run single by Ian Horne during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Topeka Train Robbers.

The Topeka Train Robbers were led by a flawless day at the dish by Scura, who went 3-3 against the Salina Stockades pitching.

Dalton Bernardi (3-4) took the loss for the Salina Stockade. He allowed eight runs in one-third of an inning, walked one and struck out none. After the game Larry was traded to Rieleros de Aguascalientes of the Mexican League.

While the Salina Stockade led until the seventh inning, the Topeka Train Robbers worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Ian Horne.

Horne racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Topeka Train Robbers. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

The Salina Stockade had no answer for Harold Rosario, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Rosario held the Salina Stockade hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out three.

The fact that the Salina Stockade grouped all of their runs into the seventh inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Tim Blackmon baffled the Topeka Train Robbers, striking out 10 batters. Blackmon allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over six innings.

Despite the loss, the Topeka Train Robbers Nick Hernandez dominated the Salina Stockades batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Roswell Invaders (35-14) and the Salina Stockade (21-27), as the two teams put up 19 runs combined in a 10-9 the Roswell Invaders win.

The two teams combined for 25 hits in the game.

Christian Johnson racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Roswell Invaders. He homered in the second inning.

Even though Blake Oliver allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his fifth of the season. Oliver struck out six, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Skyler Janisse (4-3) was the games losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked two and struck out two.

The Roswell Invaders escape the Salina Stockade behind Johnsons 5 strikeouts 7-1

An excellent effort by David Johnson lifted the Roswell Invaders (34-14) to a 7-1 win over the Salina Stockade (21-26) on Friday at Joe Bauman Park.

Johnson picked up the win for the Roswell Invaders. Johnson pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out five.

The Roswell Invaders blew out the Salina Stockade thanks to 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Roswell Invaders scored three runs in the first on the Roswell Invaders scored in the first on an RBI single by Bobby Webb and a two-run home run by Cody Coffman.

Kaohu Gasper racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Roswell Invaders. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

The Roswell Invaders and Salina Sto

The Roswell Invaders and Salina Stockade began the first of a four game series in Roswell on 7/7/2016. The Salina Stockade were in full control after five innings as Tim Blackmon allowed 2 runs and the Stockade lead 9-2. This would be all the runs Salina would tally and Roswell attacked the Salina Bullpen. Sip Garza pitced 1.2 innings allowing 3 runs. Francisco Leon pitched 1.1 innings allowing 4 runs. Chad Flick pitched 1/3 of an inning alllowing 2 hits and the game winning walkoff run.

Kyle Perez, M Gomez, M Scimanico and Lance Fairchild combined to pitch a scoreless four innings for the Invaders Bullpen.

The Invaders kept on pace with Tucson Saguaros who beat White Sands. The Salina Stockade are fortunate that the Santa Fe Fuego beat the Topeka Train Robbers. Salina still maintains a 1/2 game lead over Topeka for the final playoff spot in the Northern Division.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Alpine Cowboys to put the game away early. An RBI single by Ariel Adut and a two-run error in the first inning and an RBI single by Reagan Rutledge and an error during the second inning helped the Alpine Cowboys put some runs on the board early.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Alpine Cowboys to put the game away early. A steal of home by Reagan Rutledge in the first inning and a two-run double by Rutledge and a two-run double by Seth McLemore during the second inning helped the Alpine Cowboys put some runs on the board early.

Rutledge racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Alpine Cowboys.

The Alpine Cowboys got the win thanks in large part to Jake Heisslers dominant, six-strikeout performance. Heissler allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over six innings.

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the White Sands Pupfish (5-6) outscored the Salina Stockade (3-7) 10-9.

The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game.

TJ Wharton got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings, doubled in the seventh inning, and tripled in the eighth inning.

Nathan Williams reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Dametrus Ingram got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Gilbert Barrera was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked four and struck out three.

The White Sands Pupfishs Eric Kalbfliesh, Wharton and Aaron Olivas combined for seven hits and four RBIs.

The Salina Stockade (3-6) jumped out to an early lead on the White Sands Pupfish (4-6) and captured an 11-5 victory on Friday at Griggs Park.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Salina Stockade to put the game away early. A two-run double by CJ Epperson and a two-run single by Mike Rachun in the first inning supplied the early offense for the Salina Stockade.

Rachun racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Salina Stockade.

Despite the loss, the White Sands Pupfishs Thompson dominated the Salina Stockades batters, giving up zero runs and striking out 11.

Kevin Delzell got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Cameron Powers (0-2) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.

The White Sands Pupfish (4-5)s four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 10-5 win over the Salina Stockade (2-6) on Thursday at Griggs Park.

The White Sands Pupfish scored in the first on a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly by Joe Borowski, and a two-run single by Macyn Clifford.

TJ Wharton had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the eighth inning.

Billy Waltrip picked up the win for the White Sands Pupfish. Waltrip pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out 12.

Keifer McClendon couldnt get it done on the mound for the Salina Stockade, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out 10.

Eric Cordero, Clifford, Eric Kalbfliesh and Wharton helped lead the White Sands Pupfish. They combined for 10 hits and four RBIs.

Tevin Padgett had two extra base hits as the Alpine Cowboys (4-3) took home a 7-4 victory over the Salina Stockade (2-5) at Kokernot Field on Wednesday. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.

Joey Webb improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed four runs over eight innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Tim Blackmon was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked five and struck out six.

CJ Epperson had two extra base hits, helping the Salina Stockade (2-4) to a 7-3 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (3-3) on Tuesday at Kokernot Field. He doubled in the third and ninth innings.

Skyler Janisse struck out seven hitters en route to the the Salina Stockade win. Janisse allowed two earned runs on four hits and four walks over six innings.

Johan Puello was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Salina Stockade batters and allowing two runs.

Michael Fitzwater (0-2) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Great Bend Boom (3-1)s five first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 10-5 win over the Salina Stockade (1-3) on Sunday at Dean Evans Stadium.

The Great Bend Boom scored in the first on an RBI single by Darryl Baca, an RBI single by Logan Trowbridge, an RBI single by Reece Bell, an error, and an RBI single by DJ Sharabi.

The Great Bend Boom were led by a flawless day at the dish by Baca, who went 3-3 against the Salina Stockades pitching.

Morgan Blatnik reached base five times in the game for the Salina Stockade. He singled in the seventh inning.

Sharabi got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. Sharabi struck out eight, walked five and gave up four hits.

The Salina Stockade (1-2) and the Great Bend Boom (2-1) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Salina Stockade that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-5 win at Dean Evans Stadium.

Ray Hernandez was solid at the plate for the Salina Stockade. Hernandez went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Logan Trowbridge had two extra-base hits for the Great Bend Boom. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Kevin Delzell got the win for the Salina Stockade despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Delzell struck out four, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Steven Wisser took the loss for the Great Bend Boom. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

An exceptional effort by Patrick Barnett hoisted the Great Bend Boom (2-0) to a 6-0 win over the Salina Stockade (0-2) on Friday at Al Baird Field.

Barnett held the Salina Stockade scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on six hits while striking out eight.

Darryl Baca blasted two home runs for the Great Bend Boom. Baca went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Baca homered in the first and third innings.

The Great Bend Boom blew out the Salina Stockade thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. A two-run home run by Baca helped the Great Bend Boom score two runs in the third. The Great Bend Boom had one hit in the inning.

Dalton Bernardi was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.

The Great Bend Boom were led by Logan Trowbridges hitting. Trowbridge went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the eighth inning.

Kyle Schwartz handled the Salina Stockades lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Schwartz allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over six innings.

The Salina Stockade have their firs

The Salina Stockade have their first field manager Justin Thompson. Justin is from Lampasas, Texas. Justin Thompson served as an assistant coach for the Las vegas Train Robbers in the 2015 season in Spring Training. Justin has been an assistant coach with the Houston Apollos in the Pecos Spring League.

He was a draft and follow in 2006 out of Lamapasas, Tx by the Reds. Justin signed to pitch in College with ULM Warhawks in Monroe, Louisiana. Justin works full time as an history/economics teacher in Colmesneil, Tx. He made previous stops in LaMarque, Tx.
